The Frederick County Young Republicans are a group of young conservatives ages 18-40 who focus on actionable change and conservative causes in Frederick County, Maryland.
From engaging in community and charity events to volunteering for principled candidates during the election season, we are continually Fighting for Frederick County's Future.
We have traditional monthly meetings as well as special outings each month, helping to foster great relationships and even greater impacts on the community around us.
We believe that fighting for conservative principles will keep Frederick County a safe, prosperous, and affordable place to live and raise a family.

The FCYR Executive Board

As Chairwoman, Ashley is the main liaison between FCYR and the Maryland Young Republicans state organization. Besides chairing our meetings, Ashley helps manage all aspects of FCYR from recruiting and fundraising to planning meetings and special events. She is a 2011 graduate of Tuscarora High School and 2019 graduate of Clemson University. Ashley ran for the Frederick County Board of Education in 2022.
As Vice Chairman, Justin fills in the gaps wherever he is needed. Justin has a specific interest in recruiting and fundraising, focusing on those aspects to help build membership and awareness of the club. He is a 2017 graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School, a 2020 graduate of Frederick Community College, and a 2022 graduate of the University of Maryland - College Park. Justin ran for Maryland State Delegate in 2022.
Mason's role as secretary involves keeping FCYR in compliance and on schedule. Mason keeps track of the minutes for all FCYR meetings and events in addition to helping to find new and exciting opportunities to grow the organization. He is a 2022 graduate of Walkersville High School. In November 2022, Mason was elected to the Frederick County Council to represent district 5 in northern Frederick County.
As Treasurer, Kat is responsible for managing the financials for FCYR. Kat is a lifelong Marylander originally from Prince George's County. In 2022, she moved to Frederick County and is excited to raise her family in beautiful Lake Linganore. She is a 2011 graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School and 2014 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and recently completed her paralegal certificate. She is passionate about election integrity and protecting the Bill of Rights.
